Call for submissions

The invisible publication aims to showcase the talent of Alberta’s LGBTQ2SIA+ youth.

invisible is a collection of written works submitted by LGBTQ2SIA+ youth who are members of Alberta’s GSA Network. The writings are descriptions of wall art that is absent from the gallery space. In its place one can imagine the mounting hardware that would serve as a support for the described work.

Work submitted by members of Alberta’s GSA networks will be considered for publication. Individuals are invited to submit original written work that describes a piece of wall art that fits with the theme invisible.

Artists with work accepted to the publication will receive a paper and digital copy of the book. Published works will be professional reviewed by an editor. Any modifications recommended during the revision process will be shared with the author before publication.

All profits from the sale of the book will be donated to Camp fYrefly Alberta branches.
